I went and signed the required paperwork and was given the school colors uniform and the school colored carryall. I hit the whirlpool and then the showers and then headed for my room. We can check it out when we get back.” By this time we were at my car and I did go and check it out just to be on the safe side. There didn’t appear to be anything wrong with it so we were off. I headed for Rons and when we got there the lot was on the full side,but I found a place. We had to wait a few minutes for a table but were eventually seated. Salads will be out in a minute.” Gladys got our drinks and salads out to us and shortly thereafter our main dish. The veal was done to a golden brown,the sause was thick and the spagehtti was hot. All in all a great meal. We were just about to head out when a familiar face came through the front door with another guy in tow. “There you are Dennis. We caught this guy hanging around your car. Looked like he was trying to mess with it.” “Thanks Paul. Don’t let him go until I look the car over.” I went to my car and started a very through going over. I didn’t find anything wrong until I got down to look underneath. It wasn’t very large,but there was a puddle of fluid underneath. I saw a drop land so I knew that it was more than likely from my car. I first called the police and they were there in very short order. I explained the situation with Larry and ahowed them the ever growing puddle underneath my car. Paul still had the guy by the arms. The Police took over,searched him and found a pair of wire cutters that would easily cut a brake line.
